Types of Cooking
Steam
Cooking
Pure steam cooking
represents a better way to cook just about anything previously cooked
in water. Food prepared by this method is surrounded by hot steam
but never sits in water, so there is never any danger of vitamins
being washed away or flavours diluted. Steamed food looks and tastes
different: vegetables retain their bright colours and flavours are
infinitely more natural and intense. The steam isolates the cooking
food, so flavours stay put: imagine being able to cook a beef joint,
a vegetable terrine and créme caramel with confidence in the same
oven at the same time!
Induction
Induction technology
is unique in its capacity to go, within the blink of an eye, from
extremely low temperature to very high temperature with perfect
homogeneous heat diffusion. This technology is comparable to no
other. The production of heat is triggered when the magnetic field
comes into contact with the saucepan. Induction hobs are far more
energy efficient than any other kind of hob on the market. This
is because 75% of all the power generated is used to heat the saucepan.
You can use smaller saucepans than the diameter of the cooking zone
making it more energy efficient. With induction cooking, heat is
transferred directly to the saucepan.
Pyrolytic
Ovens
Powerclean and
pyrolytic clean ovens clean themselves at a temperature of around
500°C, carbonising all dirt inside the oven to a fine ash. The presence
of the front heating element and a ventilation system allows a thorough
cleaning of even the most inaccessible areas and between the layers
of glass on the door. According to how dirty the oven is, the user
can select one of three pyrolytic cleaning cycles: eco, normal or
super. Due to the fact that no caustic or unpleasant chemicals are
used in the process, the oven is environmentally friendly and on
average costs only 34p for a normal cycle.
Wok
Stir-frying
in a large cast-iron wok requires more direct heat than a conventional
gas burner can produce. Therefore, the wok gas hob provides an output
of almost 5.75kW, making it particularly powerful. At the centre
of the large wok burner, there is a smaller burner featuring a lower
thermal output, which is ideal for the coffee connoisseurs amongst
us who wish to make espresso coffee.
Barbecue
The barbecue
grill is just right for succulent healthy grilling and cooking.
To achieve optimised heat distribution, the grill can be filled
with lava stones. However, it can also hold a water bath to catch
grease dripping. To remove the water, there’s a special draining
system. The barbecue grill also comes with a black ceramic lid that
folds down neatly to cover the grill when not in use.
Combination
For the customer
who would like the flexibility of a double oven but with additional
benefit of a microwave, the range of combination microwave ovens
when combined with a single oven is the ideal choice. The cooking
functions of a combination oven can be combined or used independently.
Even the smallest kitchen has the space for a combination oven or
microwave.
Tepan
The tepan is
designed for the oriental, stir-fry style of cooking, but that doesn’t
limit you to oriental ingredients. The versatile plate is ideal
for everything from steaks to pancakes, from fish to a full English
breakfast. You cook directly on the plate itself and because it
requires very little oil or fat, it makes for extremely healthy
cooking. When heated, the tepan dips slightly in the centre to contain
cooking juices. An intense heat is produced in the middle for flash
frying, while the perimeter is cooler, allowing you to cook more
delicate items and keep food warm.
Vitro
Grill A new
innovation in healthy cooking. This black vitro ceramic, glass and
stainless steel grill with its unique fluted surface allows even
the most health conscious to grill expertly, cleanly and healthily.
